Janice has had a passion for writing since the 1970’s. She’s worked as a newspaper reporter, columnist and freelance journalist. Her column RAMBLING ON, has appeared in various places over the years. She and her husband, Charles, have been married since 1979 and have two adult sons and three grandchildren. They call Laurens County, SC home.

When she’s not pulling weeds, Janice spends time either learning to knit or maybe crocheting.

A self-proclaimed “word nerd” this rambling writer loves to read. Her bookshelves include Christian writers such as Francine Rivers, Ted Dekker, Frank Peretti and Larry Burkett. Her husband’s love of a good western rubbed off and she can be found getting lost in the pages of a Louis L’Amour.

She loves to bake cookies from scratch and she makes chocolate fudge with a thermometer and stop watch.

A word from Janice: “My favorite quote comes from a Louis L’Amour book called To The Far Blue Mountains. ‘Forever the dream is in the mind; realization is in the hands.‘  As I take pen in hand to capture words on paper, my realization of this dream is for you, the reader, to be inspired to reach for your own dream.  Write on!”  Janice
